Verdi serves as a Transaction Specialist on capital-markets asset sales, bringing together program management, loan-level analytics, sale strategy, and the technology infrastructure needed to take a sale from planning through settlement.
What We Do
- Program Management and Oversight: Build and run the Asset Sale Project Plan, including critical-path scheduling, milestone tracking, daily and weekly stakeholder meetings, status reporting, and quality control checkpoints from initiation through settlement.
- Asset Portfolio Analytics: Loan-level review of servicing data and historical performance, with stratification, pricing, and pooling recommendations. Geographic, market-based, and servicer-based analytics inform offering size, eligibility, and investor targeting.
- Sale Strategy and Structuring: Develop the sale structure with supporting justification based on portfolio characteristics (loan program, collateral type, balance, interest rate, age, LTV, delinquency, status, location) and current capital-markets conditions.
- Due Diligence and Investor Data Preparation: Prepare and verify the Aggregate Loan Database, payment histories, electronic servicing histories, broker price opinions, and the full bid package, applying multi-level review and reconciliation procedures.
- Bid Procedures and Settlement Support: Run bid procedures, build pricing analysis and bid evaluation models, and execute settlement coordination across servicers, bidders, and federal stakeholders.
- Information Technology Infrastructure: Stand up the secure systems that ingest servicer data, manage bidder due diligence rooms, and support auction execution end-to-end.
Proprietary Systems
- Verdi Asset Sales Platform (VASP): A purpose-built system Verdi designed, configured, implemented, and operates for HUD's Single Family Loan Sale program. VASP supports the end-to-end execution of capital-markets loan sales, from planning and data retrieval across participating servicers through bidder due diligence, auction, and settlement. Embedded proprietary Machine Learning models perform loan stratification and bid estimation with 97.5% accuracy.
